Starship as a rocket struggles to go to orbit. It is not reusable yet. It will probably take 3 or 4 refueling missions to go to moon and they want to use it to go to Mars. Wow. You people are morons
Dumb you are?
It can get to orbit by just pitching over a tiny bit more and maybe burning a second or two longer, and they are planing on recovering the booster next flight and the ships next year, as well as conducting ship-to-ship refuelling early next year. And what’s the problem with refuelling in space? With a fully fuelled starship in orbit, it can get at least 100T to Mars and the moon while the Saturn-V was fully expended, can only bring a single use, lightweight lander to the moon, can only land on the equator of the moon, and was extremely expensive. Theres a reason Verner Von Braun wanted to have reusable rockets for a Mars base and Moon base.
Watching this 3 yrs on in 2024. Starship just completed first successful orbital flight and re entry to land in the ocean along with Falcon super heavy. Next will hopefully be a full orbital flight and full landing.

Im not disappointed, it takes a lot of time and hard work to be able to launch starship and land it, and it would be even harder to catch it.

The helmets are the part that always freak me out. Just how well does it really fasten to the suit? it seems like the easiest part to fall off. It's obviously worked well enough so far, but it's always been on my mind just how secure it is fastened on to the rest of the suit. Like what are the fail-safes for it?
